Design is inherent in all areas of modern life. It could be tangible design in media and entertainment or consumer products. It could be on the world wide web or the interior of a home or office. But most importantly, it could have long lasting results in improving our quality of life, business operations and even protecting the future of the planet for generations to come. Needless to say, the potential for good design is tremendous.

On a personal level, choosing a course and school in design are some of the most important and exciting decisions you will make for your career. The programmes offered, the lecturers, the school environment, the new city you will be living in if you're a foreigner, and the friends you will make - these are the things that will make a lasting impression in your life and your career.
