The multimedia course at Raffles Design International
has a very broad meaning. It is concerned with the product
of visual projects, programmes or experiences, which may
be used for education, entertainment, advertising/marketing,
or cultural expression. Areas that are included in multimedia
at the school are animation, special effects, three dimension
modeling, web design, and all interactive media design.
This exciting course concentrates on the placing multimedia
within a design context, fostering creativity within a supportive
framework of research and technical skills. This philosophy
ensures that our students meet the demand for digitally
experienced designers who are not limited by boundaries
between creativity, technology and design, and who can work
within a broad range of disciplines.
The multimedia design produces students with software skill
which are “industry ready”, and also have a
strong theoretical basis in visual design and implementation.
