Hello! I’m Li Xinghua. I came and studied in Raffles in 2005, majoring in Business Administration (BA). After graduation, I started a company, called Long Quan Flour Milling Company, specialized in flour milling on my own. Up to now, the production capacity has reached 140 tons per day.

During the three years at college, I did a variety of assignments and projects such as business planning, market researching, presentations focused on diversified business fields with the help of my teachers. This experience did contribute to my starting my own business. It was in the period of working on my thesis that I got to know about my current business.

I not only received international advanced ideas and teaching approach, but also learned how to rise to the challenge from the fields that we are not familiar and know how to enter a new filed. The teaching focused on fostering students’ practical abilities at college made me aware of the importance of the spirit of creativity.

I would like to share my idea with the college students in Raffles, that is, college education gives us major knowledge as well as the capacity of dealing with kinds of difficulties.

All in all, Raffles teaches us both knowledge and methods.
