IAs you are well aware, the recent Swine flu outbreak has caused wide public concern . In view of the seriousness of this infection, effective measures should be taken before things get worse. As for the college, twice daily each classroom and the common areas are disinfected.  A record is kept of this.  In addition, each area has a fixed time for ventilation.  Information is provided to the students and staff.  It is clear that the symptoms of this disease include fever, cough, headache or achiness.  The disease can infect people readily..  Because of this, the college strongly urges any of our staff or students are who found to have the above flu symptoms to put on a surgical mask & refrain from coming to the college.  Please see a doctor directly, and report to your supervisor or student counselor immediately.

For personal protection, the following is essential:

  • Frequently wash hands with soap and water
  • Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue when you sneeze or cough.
  • Do not touch your mouth, nose and eyes.
  • Stay home and avoid crowded places (including trains, buses) when you are unwell.
  • Put on a surgical mask and see a doctor if you have flu symptoms.
