However, it is not easy to become an entrepreneur. How can we create services and products that are wanted by the market? How do we create the business plan and manage the cash flow? How do we manage a team? Graduates will face all these problems and more
RCU encourages students to establish their own enterprises and teaches students the basic skills and knowledge that they will need to be successful.
RCU offers courses such as Entrepreneurship, Business Planning, Marketing Research, Management Accounting and much more to meet the demands of the times. The content of the courses is derived from best practices from around the world and modified to suit local conditions. It provides a practical systematic set of key business tools to help the students develop an entrepreneurial outlook to business.
RCU uses a variety of teaching methods including Problem Based Learning (PBL) and Multiple Intelligences (MI) to train students’ ability for both creative thought and advanced problem solving. Lecturers help organize real life entrepreneurial projects and through discussions and practical activities train the students in creating, developing and implementing agreed business plans.
All foreign lecturers have been awarded their foreign Expert Certificates. They have extensive business experience in such areas as advertising, product design, marketing consultancy, publishing, manufacturing and e-commerce and can provide a wealth of real life experience to help the students to develop their ideas with an international perspective
RCU has a number of long-term cooperative relationships with many famous global enterprises. Students have the chance to participate in a variety of commercial projects whilst in school thus giving them valuable commercial experience within an entrepreneurial setting.
RCU regularly invites senior managers from commerce and industry to give talks and, together with visits to famous companies throughout Jilin province, the students gain first hand experience of the modern business world.
The RCU lecturers actively support the students in entering both national and regional entrepreneurial competitions. They give guidance and support helping the students to gain confidence in highly competitive environments.
