Learn the language of visual communication through various 2D print media. This course takes the student through the principles of design and an understanding of the appropriate technology. More than the study of graphic design, this course provides a deeper understanding of the designer's role in history, society and research.
Visual Communication (Graphic Design) is taught through a series of assigned, sequential, interrelated projects that cover the broad spectrum of graphic design activities.
Students in the 3rd Year programme have the opportunity to explore advanced concepts such as aspects of culture, economics and social implications of graphic design solutions. Through research and major practical projects, the students will make use of their multi-disciplined skills to offer creative and pragmatic design solutions to meet industry demands.
The flexibility of the curriculum allows designers to pursue individual interests while developing themselves as unique and creative individuals with advanced skills ready to enter the creative design industry.
